La Clinica

La Clinica is a 100% Australian-owned cosmeceutical skin care brand and manufacturer founded in 1995 and based in Melbourne. With its own clinical-grade laboratory and manufacturing facility, La Clinica is committed to producing high-performance, natural and organic skin and body care products that deliver visible results, safety, purity and efficacy. Their ranges cover everything from cleansers, moisturisers, body care and sun protection to certified organic formulas for sensitive and baby skin. Proudly made in Australia, La Clinica is stocked by a wide network of retailers and pharmacies across the country, as well as through its online store, bringing science-based skincare within reach of a broad community.

The work

As Head of Creative for La Clinica, a well-known Australian beauty and skincare brand, I had the opportunity to work across the entire creative process. From observing product development through to packaging, branding and advertising, I ensured each launch remained true to the brand’s identity while also pushing creative boundaries. The role was dynamic and fast paced, with creative outputs tailored not only for La Clinica directly but also to meet the marketing needs of stockists across Australia and New Zealand.

I photographed products, created renderings and developed innovative packaging designs that reflected the brand’s premium positioning. Beyond packaging, I worked on campaign concepts and beauty expo stalls, travelling to major events across Australia to bring the brand to life. This variety of work required both technical precision and strong creative vision, ensuring every touchpoint communicated a consistent and compelling brand message.

The role also extended into outdoor advertising, point-of-sale materials, photography, social media and website management. Managing both digital and physical assets meant developing strategies and content that connected with consumers across multiple channels, while reinforcing La Clinica’s presence in the competitive beauty industry. This combination of creativity, brand guardianship and hands-on design made my time at La Clinica both rewarding and formative.
